BAT Bangladesh Chairman’s autobiographical book launched

 

Dhaka : BAT Bangladesh Chairman Golam Mainuddin’s autobiographical book ‘Bohujatik Company’te 50 Bochhor’ (50 Years in Multinational Company) has been launched. The inauguration event was organized on Saturday (September 16), at the Police Plaza Concord located in Gulshan-1 of the capital.

With his welcome speech, Shehzad Munim, Managing Director of BAT Bangladesh, greeted the guests at the program, which was followed by the formal unveiling of the book. Distinguished personalities from various professions, along with dignitaries and highly esteemed figures of society and industries graced the event with their presence.

Later, Golam Mainuddin expressed his feelings about the book. “I am truly gratified to publish the book”, He said. “This has been an extensive journey of mine at a multinational company. I reckoned that I would share this experience with everyone. Finally, I’ve been able to tell you a lot about my work and personal life through this book. My heartfelt regards to all who joined today’s event”, he added.

It is notable that the 35 chapters of the book ‘Bohujatik Company’te 50 Bochhor’ reflect various aspects of the life of BAT Bangladesh Chairman Golam Mainuddin. The publication covers Golam Mainuddin’s childhood and youth, the early days of his career, colorful experiences accumulated while working in tea-estates, the author’s colossal career in BAT Bangladesh, the activities of different Managing Directors of BAT Bangladesh during the author’s tenure, various initiatives taken by BAT Bangladesh and the diverse aspects of his personal life, including guidance for employees.

The author dedicates this autobiographical book to his friends, the colleagues he had throughout his 50 years’ professional life, workers, farmers from different regions, and the common people of Bangladesh. The cover of the book was painted by Liton Halder. The book, priced at only BDT 800, is published by Jagrity Prokashoni.
