The Ambassador was accompanied by Bilal Belyurt, Commercial Counsellor and Harun Orta\u00e7, Chief Executive Officer of United Aygaz LPG Ltd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the meeting, the delegation congratulated the Minister on assuming charge of the Ministry and conveyed the continued goodwill of the Government of T\u00fcrkiye toward Bangladesh. Ambassador \u015een briefed the Minister on the current state of bilateral relations and Turkish investment and trade plans in Bangladesh. The Minister welcomed continued Turkish investment and reaffirmed the government\u2019s commitment to expanding participation in the country&#8217;s energy sector, including in LNG supply and underscored the importance of government-to-government (G2G) cooperation in helping to narrow the trade gap between the two countries that share religious affinity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both sides expressed satisfaction with the growing economic and energy cooperation between Bangladesh and T\u00fcrkiye and discussed avenues to strengthen bilateral ties in the energy sector further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ambassador \u015een extended an invitation to the Minister to visit T\u00fcrkiye to further enhance bilateral relations and cooperation.
