Bhutanese Ambassador congratulated the State Minister on his appointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral issues of mutual interest. State Minister expressed Bangladesh\u2019s keen interest to contribute to the development of the Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC) of Bhutan, particularly by providing professionals, skilled and semi-skilled human resources. Recalling the vision of Late President Ziaur Rahman, State Minister requested Bhutan\u2019s support for the revitalization of SAARC for the collective benefit of the region and peoples.  \n\nBhutanese Ambassador conveyed the deep appreciation for the warm welcome extended to the King of Bhutan by the gracious presence of President of Bangladesh during his brief stopover at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka on 26 August 2026.
