The partnership has enabled Eskayef to produce insulin in both vial and Penfill formats, helping ensure access to quality insulin for patients living with diabetes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of its latest expansion, Eskayef is establishing a third insulin vial production line to significantly enhance its production capacity and meet growing demand at home and abroad. This impactful financing reflects the bank\u2019s commitment to supporting strategic investments in Bangladesh\u2019s pharmaceutical and healthcare manufacturing sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The expansion is expected to contribute to greater availability of insulin while strengthening domestic manufacturing capacity for an essential, life-saving medicine. Increased local production can also help reduce import dependency and further strengthen Bangladesh\u2019s position as a pharmaceutical manufacturing and exporting hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, Managing Director &amp; CEO of BRAC Bank, said: \u201cExpanding insulin production in Bangladesh means strengthening local capacity for a medicine that people depend on every day.
