Dhaka : Samsung captured the highest share of global smartphone shipments in the third quarter (Q3) of 2026, accounting for 23% of the global market share during the period, according to recent data published by global market research firm Counterpoint Research. According to the report, Apple ranked second globally with a 22% market share in Q3. Xiaomi ranked third with 12%, followed by OPPO at 9% and vivo at 8%. The report also noted that the global smartphone market declined 20% year-on-year (YoY) in Q3 2026, reaching its lowest Q3 level in 14 years, as continued memory shortages constrained supply for most original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Despite a 3% YoY decline in shipments, Samsung retained its leading position, supported by stronger supply availability than its competitors and robust early demand for its foldable series, led by the Galaxy Z Fold8. With Q3 behind it, Samsung remains committed to advancing innovative mobile technology and delivering meaningful smartphone experiences to consumers worldwide.-Pess Release Post Views: 91 Post navigation Infinix Launches NOTE 60 Ultra with Ferrari-Linked Design Heritage
