High-Level IsDB-ITFC Delegation Meets Prime Bank Leadership to Strengthen Strategic Partnership

Dhaka : Prime Bank PLC today hosted a high-level delegation from the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), a member of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, at its corporate head office in Dhaka.

The ITFC delegation was led by Chief Executive Officer Eng. Adeeb Yousuf Al Aama, who is currently visiting Bangladesh as part of an official high-level IsDB-ITFC mission following an invitation from the Government of Bangladesh from August 30 to September 3, 2026.

The delegation engaged in strategic bilateral discussions with Prime Bank’s senior management team, led by CEO Faisal Rahman, alongside key executive leadership. The meeting focused on expanding cross-border trade finance solutions, and exploring collaborative avenues to support Bangladesh’s key trade and economic sectors.

Both institutions expressed optimism regarding future collaborations, aiming to joint-venture on trade facilities, foreign exchange liquidity frameworks and sustainable financing programs in the region.
