Dhaka : BRAC Bank has signed an agreement with Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) to facilitate convenient payment of city corporation fees and taxes through the bank’s digital channels.
Under the agreement, Dhaka residents will be able to pay trade licence and renewal fees, holding tax, and property transfer tax through BRAC Bank. The initiative will make DSCC payments more accessible, seamless, and convenient for residents across the city.
As part of the next phase of the collaboration, BRAC Bank plans to establish API connectivity with DSCC, enabling digital payment of these fees and taxes through the bank’s digital platforms.
Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, Managing Director & CEO of BRAC Bank, and Md. Khaybar Rahman, CEO of DSCC, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations at Nagar Bhaban on September 2, 2026.
Commenting on the collaboration, Tareq Refat Ullah Khan said, “We are committed to making everyday banking simpler and more convenient. This partnership with DSCC will make city corporation fee and tax payments more accessible and seamless for Dhaka residents through digital channels. We will continue to form partnerships with more government and private enterprises to enable seamless digital payments for our valued customers.”
