Dhaka : Very few modern jobs involve working on one thing at a time these days. A typical work morning now consists of keeping a spreadsheet open next to a client email, squeezing in a zoom call in the corner and refreshing your inbox every five minutes. Let’s also not forget the countless tabs that you keep opened in your browser, half of which you have forgotten why you had opened in the first place.

This is what office work looks like now, and most of our older and smaller screens weren’t exactly built for all this. A single 24-inch monitor can only do so much. You either have to choose between different windows, or shrink each one until the text is a squint away from unreadable. This constant switching in the middle of work disrupts concentration and makes us lose focus.

On the other hand, having more space in the screen changes the whole equation. It lets you keep three or four things open side by side without the endless cycle of changing windows and tabs. Tasks don’t make you lose your focus anymore because as you see more, you think in fewer fragments.

Multitasking, however, is not only about screen size. It is also about the quality of the screen, meaning the visual clarity, the colors, and so on. With professionals spending longer hours in front of screens, eye comfort, reduced blue light, and flicker-free technology have also become vital workplace requirements to prevent fatigue.

Modern monitors are made keeping all of this in mind. For instance, Samsung’s latest The Odyssey Neo G9, at 57 inches, is currently the largest monitor sold in Bangladesh. It offers enough real estate to run a full workspace across a single curved display. On the other hand, for people whose work leans more visual like design and video, the Odyssey OLED G9, at 49 inches, brings that same ultrawide format into OLED with sharper colors and contrast, for which the panel type is known for. Meanwhile, for gaming enthusiasts, the Odyssey G6 stands out as the world’s first 500Hz OLED monitor, built for motion that doesn’t blur or lag, giving people a very smooth gaming experience.

These modern-day monitors, built for our specific day-to-day tasks, makes the work much easier. As computers are devices we spend our whole day using, purchasing a new hardware is a practical investment. When your screen gives you the room, clarity and comfort you need, you have to spend far less time managing clutter and much more time doing meaningful work.
