Dhaka : Samsung’s Fan Edition lineup, aka the FE series, exists for one reason – for everyone to get all their favorite top-tier features. The new Galaxy S26 FE continues this trend by taking the best parts of the top-end S26 series and delivering them in a package that everyone can enjoy.

Durable design and a bright screen

The S26 FE has armor glass protection with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ both at the front and back, making it tough enough to resist damage from accidental falls and scratches. It boasts an IP68 protection level, making it immune to splashes and dust. It arrives in three understated finishes: Blueberry, Graphite, and Pistachio.

The front is dominated by a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth scrolling and game playing experience. The screen is also bright enough to provide good visibility even under the sun.

Flagship performance and Galaxy AI

Performance is the place where the S26 FE really stands out in terms of capabilities. There is quite a lot from the S26 Ultra, evident in multitasking, split-screen functionality, and playing heavy games without noticeable lagging and heating issues.

When talking about S26 FE, it is impossible not to mention software. This is the first device in the S26 series to ship with One UI 9 out of the box, which means Galaxy AI features arrive before anywhere else. ‘Now Brief’ provides users with a daily morning briefing customized for them, while ‘Now Nudge’ suggests actions based on received messages. ‘Circle to Search’ functionality has also been improved, allowing searching for more than one item per image now.

Smart cameras and effortless editing

The camera hardware is designed for reliability in real-world usage rather than spec-sheet bragging rights. The device has a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization alongside a 12 MP front, 12MP ultra-wide and 8MP telephoto camera with a 3x optical zoom.

A few of Samsung’s software-driven video tools carry over as well. ‘My FanCam’ locks onto and tracks the subject throughout movement, while ‘Super Steady Video’ with the new ‘Horizontal Lock’ makes sure videos while walking or moving do not look unstable. ‘Nightography’ allows taking shots in low light, and ‘Photo Assist’ takes care of fast generative edits, and ‘Gemini Omni’ creates videos out of gallery photos.

All-day battery and endurance

Battery capacity comes in at 4,900 mAh to last through a whole day of usage without requiring any further charges. The phone charges at a speed of 45W when using the wired charging option, and also supports wireless charging.

Samsung is also committing to seven generations of OS updates and seven years of security patches, which is a longer support window than most phones in this segment.

In Bangladesh, Galaxy S26 FE is expected to launch soon. Given what’s on offer, the S26 FE looks like one of the more sensible ways to get flagship-level features without the dent in the pocket.
