Owning a Ferrari may be a distant dream, but a touch of the design heritage behind some of its most iconic cars could soon fit in your pocket. Infinix is bringing Italian automotive design to a new addition to its NOTE 60 Series through a collaboration with Pininfarina, the legendary design house known for its work with Ferrari, Alfa Romeo and other luxury carmakers. The upcoming device draws inspiration from the sculpted bodywork of sports cars. Its Uni-Chassis camera module integrates the cameras, Active-Matrix display and rear lighting beneath a single glass panel, creating a seamless rear surface. Beneath the Pininfarina logo, a light inspired by supercar taillights illuminates during startup and notifications, adding a distinctive automotive detail. The Italian influence extends to the colour palette. Monza Red references the famous racing circuit, Torino Black takes its name from Pininfarina’s home city, Amalfi Blue draws inspiration from Italy’s coastline, and Roma Silver reflects the capital’s architectural character. The design continues through a matte aluminium alloy frame, rounded edges, racing-inspired interface and exclusive wallpapers, bringing the automotive influence beyond the exterior. Alongside the upcoming device, Infinix is also preparing a special edition of a previously launched smartphone, featuring a Kevlar-pattern finish, racing-inspired software, an exclusive Pininfarina watermark and co-branded accessories.
