Dhaka : Robi Axiata PLC and Dhaka Bank PLC have entered into a strategic partnership to launch a co-branded credit card designed exclusively for Robi’s Elite customers and employees. This premium offering aims to elevate lifestyle, travel, and financial experiences with unmatched convenience and rewards.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at Dhaka Bank’s head office by Md. Mostaque Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Emerging Market Officer of Dhaka Bank, and Manik Lal Das, Director of Customer Value Solutions, Market Operations at Robi Axiata.
Under this collaboration, cardholders will enjoy a range of premium benefits. The co-branded credit card will offer no annual fee for the first three years and provide up to three complimentary supplementary cards. Cardholders will also have access to exclusive travel privileges, including free airport pick-up and drop-off services, meet-and-greet assistance, and lounge access through LoungeKey, covering eight international lounges. Additional perks include unlimited access to the Balaka Lounge and entry to over 1,600 lounges worldwide.
Furthermore, cardholders can avail themselves of premium hotel benefits, such as up to three complimentary buffet meals for the price of one. Financial protections include coverage up to 40 lakhs taka under Dhaka Bank’s Quintuple Credit Shield, 0% EMI facilities for up to 24 months, and special discounts on lifestyle products at more than 10,000 partner outlets nationwide.
The signing ceremony was graced by senior officials from both organizations, including H.M. Mostafizur Rahman, Senior Executive Vice President & Head of Retail Business Division at Dhaka Bank; Md. Sanjid Hossain, Associate Director, Commercial Partnership at Robi; A.S.M. Faisal, General Manager, Loyalty & Partnership at Robi; and Tanvir Alam Chowdhury, General Manager, Commercial Partnership at Robi.
