Participation of more than 120 local and international organizations and institutions
The 13th Biman Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Fair (BTTF) 2025—the country’s largest tourism expo—was inaugurated today (30 October) in a grand ceremony at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center (BCFCC) in the capital, Dhaka.
The three-day international tourism fair has been organized by the Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB), the apex trade body of the country’s tourism industry. This year, Biman Bangladesh Airlines is the title sponsor, IHG Hotels & Resorts has joined as the gold partner, and bKash as the payment partner.
The event was formally inaugurated by Lutfe Siddiqi, Special Envoy to the Chief Adviser on International Affairs also the chief guest. The opening ceremony was presided over by Md. Rafeuzzaman, President of TOAB, while Mohammad Yunus, Director (Media & Publications), conducted the program. A welcome address was delivered by Md. Taslim Amin Shovon, Director (Trade & Fair).

In his inaugural speech, the chief guest emphasized the need for collective efforts from all stakeholders to advance the tourism sector, noting that the government continues to work toward developing the industry.
According to the organizers, more than 120 local and international organizations are participating, showcasing their products and services through around 220 stalls and 20 pavilions. Exhibitors include national tourism boards, airlines, tour operators, hotels, resorts, travel agencies, financial institutions, healthcare providers, and other tourism-related entities.
National tourism organizations and associations from Pakistan, Nepal and Bhutan are taking part in this year’s fair, alongside participants from Maldives, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, China, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Turkey, and host country Bangladesh.
Throughout the fair, participating companies are offering special discounts on various services including air tickets, hotel bookings, and travel packages for both domestic and international destinations.
The fair also features a series of sideline events, such as B2B sessions, seminars, an award ceremony, and country presentations. Additionally, cultural performances and documentary screenings on Bangladesh’s tourist attractions will be held daily, along with attractive raffle draws. Visitors paying through bKash will enjoy cashback offers on entry tickets.
Distinguished guests at the inauguration included, Saima Shahin Sultana, Chairman of Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, Naila Ahmed, Joint Secretary (Tourism-1 Branch), Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Dr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman, Managing Director and CEO of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Md. Mainul Hasan, Additional IGP of Bangladesh Tourist Police, Ms Nuzhat Yasmin CEO of Bangladesh Tourism Board and advisors, directors, steering committee members, and other officials of the association were also present. The entry fee for the fair is set at Tk 50 per person. However, students, freedom fighters, and July war heroes will enjoy free entry. The fair will remain open to visitors from 10 AM to 8 PM daily.
