Big news for Bangladesh’s youth, and for us. 🎉
CARE Bangladesh has been selected as one of four service providers for the World Bank-funded EARN Project (Economic Acceleration and Resilience for NEET), implemented by the Department of Youth Development under the Ministry of Youth and Sports. On 16 July 2026 in Dhaka, Ram Das, Country Director, CARE Bangladesh, signed the contract at a ceremony presided over by Md. Aminul Haque, State Minister, Ministry of Youth and Sports, marking CARE Bangladesh’s formal commitment to this national initiative.
Through this project, CARE Bangladesh will work across the three Chattogram Hill Tracts districts alongside Khulna, Mymensingh, and Rajshahi divisions, helping establish training centers at the village level to reach young men and women currently not in education, employment, or training, with 60% of participants being young women.
250,000+ young people. 25 districts. One goal: self-reliance. 💪
We are proud to be part of this national effort, and committed to building an inclusive, resilient Bangladesh.
