Dhaka : Guardian Life Insurance Limited has won the ‘Insurance Innovation Award’ at the Fintech Innovation Award 2026 for its Automated Claim Processing System (ACPS), while its Guardian Accidental Care initiative received an Honorable Mention. The two innovations reflect Guardian’s efforts to transform insurance services through faster, more transparent claims settlement and affordable, easily accessible short-term accident insurance coverage. Guardian’s Automated Claim Processing System (ACPS) has simplified the entire claims journey by integrating submission, verification, assessment, tracking and settlement into a connected digital platform. The system has significantly accelerated claims processing compared to the previous process, reducing paperwork and manual intervention while enabling customers to track their claims digitally. Between August 2025 and August 2026, Guardian settled more than 261,000 claims worth over Tk 557 crore. Of these, 43,032 claims were settled on the same day, while 97 percent were settled within a week, demonstrating the impact of digital innovation on claims settlement efficiency and customer service. Alongside ACPS, Guardian Accidental Care is making short-term accident insurance more affordable and convenient by integrating coverage directly into event ticketing and registration systems. Starting from just Tk 10, the initiative provides 24-hour accident insurance coverage with up to Tk 50,000 in specified health and life benefits, eliminating the need for a separate insurance application process. Commenting on the achievements, Sheikh Rakibul Karim, FCA, Chief Executive Officer of Guardian Life Insurance Limited, said, “Our focus is to make insurance simpler, more accessible and dependable for everyone. Through ACPS, we are improving the claims settlement experience, while Guardian Accidental Care is bringing affordable insurance coverage closer to people’s everyday needs. These recognitions encourage us to continue developing innovative solutions that deliver meaningful benefits to our customers and strengthen trust in insurance.” The dual recognition reflects Guardian’s continued commitment to digital innovation, customer-centric services and expanding access to reliable insurance coverage across Bangladesh.Press Release ফিনটেক অ্যাওয়ার্ড ২০২৬-এ দুটি স্বীকৃতি পেল গার্ডিয়ান Post Views: 25 Post navigation Grameenphone Academy Empowers Youth to Turn AI Skills Into Real-World Solutions Through AI Bootcamp BRAC Healthcare Now in Noakhali
