🤟 Happy Disability Pride Month!
This month, we’re proud to spotlight Susan Cherry, a dedicated Red Cross volunteer whose commitment to helping others strengthens our community every day.
After witnessing the impact of the Pacific Palisades fire, Susan joined the Red Cross to support people facing emergencies. Today, she serves in Volunteer Outreach and the Disaster Action Team, connecting with community members and helping share preparedness information.
As a deaf volunteer, Susan brings a unique perspective, resilience and compassion to her work with the Red Cross. Whether engaging with community members at preparedness events, supporting disaster response efforts or donating platelets, she demonstrates how service, determination and inclusion strengthen our communities.
During Disability Pride Month, we celebrate the contributions, leadership and lived experiences of people with disabilities. Thank you, Susan, for helping build stronger, more prepared and more inclusive communities. ❤️
