DHAKA : Prime Bank PLC has been recognised as a TradeTrust-Ready Partner, marking a milestone in the bank’s digital trade journey. TradeTrust, developed by Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), is an open-source framework that enables the trusted and interoperable exchange of electronic trade documents across different systems and borders. By becoming TradeTrust-Ready, Prime Bank has demonstrated its readiness to use TradeTrust-enabled electronic trade documents, supporting more trusted and interoperable cross-border digital trade.

To mark the occasion, a commemorative session was held at Prime Tower in Nikunja recently.

“This recognition proves that our trade infrastructure meets the world’s digital benchmarks, empowering local and international traders to eliminate courier delays, lower costs, and accelerate cross-border commerce,” said Mr. Syed Sazzad Haider Chowdhury, DMD & CIO of Prime Bank. Mr. Md Tanveer Bin Hasan, Head of Trade Digitalization & Innovation, shared his insights into the future of digital trade.

Mr. Sajjad Hossain, Head of Trade, Mr. Tamim Anam, Head of LC Processing and Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Export Head were also present to observe the milestone.

This recognition places Prime Bank at the forefront of cross-border paperless trade, advancing the vision for a digitally integrated economy.
