National Night Out is a reminder that strong communities are built through connection, preparedness and neighbors helping neighbors.
At this year’s event in Simi Valley, the American Red Cross Pacific Coast Chapter shared preparedness resources, taught Hands-Only CPR and connected community members with ways to get involved. Serving Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties as part of the Los Angeles Region, the Pacific Coast Chapter is helping communities become stronger and more resilient through preparedness education and volunteer engagement.
Whether it’s creating an emergency plan, learning lifesaving skills, donating blood or volunteering, every action helps strengthen community resilience.
